VideoLAN and the VLC development team are excited to announce a major version of VLC for iOS today, which adds full support for iOS 9 including split screen and iPad Pro, for Windows shares (SMB), watchOS 2, a new subtitles engine, right-to-left interfaces, system-wide search (spotlight), Touch ID protection, and more. It will be available on the App Store shortly.
