Google Summer of Code 2008

As some of you might have noticed, VideoLAN has been accepted as an official mentoring organization for Google’s 2008 edition of Summer of Code. Official student applications will be begin on the 24th and will last until the 31th. Students can apply for VLC related projects and x264 related projects. Feel free to drop by on IRC or e-mail the vlc-devel@ mailing list if you have any questions. Update: The application deadline has been extended to the 7th of April by the Google folks.
