This new release uses a52dec as the default decoder for AC3 sound for a better quality, fixes a hangup in the esd plugin, allows Windows NT/2000/XP users to read DVDs without administrator privileges and fixes a few segfaults. Have a look at the ChangeLog and go to the download page.
